We have a problem with our refrigerator keeping things cold.

I have the thermostat slide control all the up and the thermometer are reading

in the spoilage area. , not too far into the red, but still in the red. Any

ideas before I take it in for service. We do have a Good Sam extended Warranty on the trailer, and it covers everything on the fridge except the seals around the door.

If you have a chance see if this condition happens with gas as well as electricity. I have seen where it works better with one and not the other and that would help them troubleshoot the problem. Hope it is a simple fix.

Also make sure the end of the thermister is sticking out of the top end of the plastic slide about a 1/4" to 1/2".

In answer to question number one, It work the same on gas as it does on electric, I already thought of that. and as far as the thermister, I only have it even with the top end of the fin. Is it supposed to be higher than that?

Yes, 1/4" to 1/2" higher. I don't know if that will help your issue but it might be worth a try. And remember any changes you make will take 12 to 24 hours to take full effect.
