Door gas shock replacement.

Has anyone replaced their gas door shock with a better brand than the standard? Just wondering if theirs a better one before I order a standard. My part # is SX200P1-11-DC. Thanks. I can get a standard off eBay for $29.94.

A friend of mine had one go on his camper. The door was so flimsy I’m not sure you’d want a better one than standard.

Received my door shock today. Took off the old one and installed the new one. I didn’t realize how worn out the old one was. I knew it wasn’t holding the door open. However, the old one had absolutely no tension left at all. Took about 30 minutes to install because I had to remove both the bracket on the door and the one attached to the door landing because both were bent from taking the door pressure without the help of the shock. Had to straighten them in the vice and reinstall. Good as new again! Whoop Whoop
