Dual ac's and a generator

Can I just run one ac on a dual ac trailer from my generator if I have a 30 -50 amp adapter. My generator is a 4000 watts.

Pull your manual for each unit and look at the load specs. I have. 13500btu unit and run it just fine with my 3500 watt generator

I think one AC will be fine. I would also switch water heater and fridge to propane. That way you'll have enough watts for converter, television, and maybe more.

While you can step up the ac so it doesn't pull too many amps at once by starting on low fan, then high fan, then compressor...
invest a lil money into a 'hard start' add on to allow the compressors to come to full power 'easier' than normal to lessen the initial draw...
