Duct tape adhesive
Hello all. The precious owners used duct tape to put up sale signs. Ugh. What can I use to get the adhesive off without damaging exterior?

I'd use Goop or mineral spirits.

I suggest Goo Gone also. I used it to remove the glue when I removed the RV dealer decals ( I don't like to advertise for them). It worked well. You can get it at just about any big box store.

Ok peanut butter is interesting. I tried wd40 and got a little off. I'll try goo gone next. Busy day really. Gave it a bath and put some grease in the bearings. Trying to get ready for trip to Hilton head next week.

You can also GENTLY use a flat razor blade to scrape off the residue. Watch the angle to avoid digging in the paint.

Auto supply stores often carry plastic razor blades also. Might be a better option.

It's the oils in the peanut butter that remove the glue.

The first thing I do when I bring a new vehicle home is remove the dealer's advertisement. After I pull it off, I remove the glue with peanut butter. When I used to have a neighbor who sold Amway products, I used Amway L.O.C. It works well too.
