Entry door threshold

I’m thinking I may want to install the Lippert or MorRyde solid step in the future. Our entry door lower edge is not parallel with the threshold, plus the threshold has the LED light bar on the exterior edge. I’d like to remove the threshold and modify it. Is it possible without removing the whole door frame?

2slick, apparently this is a project nobody has tackled yet. If you do it, you will have to educate the rest of us. Good luck with it.

Thanks Lloyd! I just don’t think the solid steps will work with the threshold. I may call Lippert and get their input. I had to replace the Southco lock, and they were very helpful
