My exterior shower fixture must have held water between the two knob/valves, busted and is leaking water only when the hot or cold knobs are turned on. Since there is no access to the rear of the fixture from the inside of the camper, am I going to have to remove the entire Hatch (cut the sealant and remove all the screws)?

I only need to replace the crossover section as the valves, knobs, hose, etc., are all OK but looks like I will have to buy the entire fixture. Any suggestions? What kind of sealant does Crossroads use? Any suggestion as to where I can order the replacement fixture?

I had the same problem with mine a couple of years ago, I forgot to winterize it when the time came. I would suggest that you replace the whole unit, the unit was about $60.00 and it is modular. I used the tape putty that came with the unit. I replaced the entire unit in about half an hour. You can get the replacement from your dealer parts department. As a matter of fact, they had it in stock at my dealer.

Good luck

Are you sure there is no access cover from the inside? Sometimes they cover the back of the faucet with a panel held by a couple of screws. Look for the water lines from under cabinets etc. The faucet itself is held by two large plastic nuts. Undo the water lines, the two nuts and the faucet should come out.

The outside shower backs up to the shower in the inside. Looks like I would have to take the shower stall apart to access the back of the outside shower fixture. Unless I am missing something looks to me there is no other way to access it other than to take the whole thing out from the outside. Should I try to contact Crossroads? Will they respond to an email?

Then your only option is to remove the whole case and faucet as a unit. Hopefully CR left enough slack in the water lines for you to pull it out far enough to get your hands behind it to remove the water lines. I would think it to be a fairly easy job once the caulk is cut and the 8-10 mounting screws removed.

As I said in my reply, it's a real easy job, there is plenty of slack, and by the way, My outside shower is on the other side of the trailer from the inside.

Mine leaks when turned on, due to me failing to winterize it one year. Since it only leaks when turned on and we never use it I opted to leave it alone.

I'm having the same problem but mine is brand new and had it winterized last winter.

Do you know if this on my 2 year warranty?

Thanks

On our CF30SK there is an access panel under the kitchen sink for the outside shower. Your's may be in a similar location. The same goes for the shower stall fawcets. The access panel for ours isin one of the Kitchen cabinets over the sink.
