faded rv caps

There may be some hope for you guys with the faded caps.
I was reading a letter in trailer life. It was sent in by a guy who owns a Sunset trail with a faded cap. He contacted CR and didn't get any help or satisfaction there. (can you imagine that)
Anyway he found a you tube video on refinishing the fiberglass cab on a semi. He said the truck looked like new when they were done.

Then he went to

Wipe New ®

and bought some of their product and by follow the directions from the video and product directions from wipenew, he says his trailer looks great again.

I thought I would pass this on to you guys with the faded caps in case you wanted to try it.

That looks like a real simple and easy way to do it. Hope it last a long time.

On our old RV, I used a product called New Glass II on the cap that worked great (one quart is gobs). A friend used it to restore the gloss back to his old motorhome. I had scrubbed off the old gelcoat using Simple Green for the bugs.
