I havea 2012 Rushmore and keep it well cleaned and waxed. The very top of the front and rear end cap are faded badly. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hahahaha, so if I'm reading this correct, are you suppose to put a bracelet around ur hitch or use the cleaner for ur front cap? Some people obviously have nothing better to do than SPAM all day!

Look at marine products, there are some that will bring back the shine and help protect the finish

Nice 1st post ??

The cap on our SunsetTrail is fading badly as well, looking at marine polish for gel coat. Too hot outside to buff the cap lately now but if we get a cooler day I might tackle it.

I have used a 3M marine product and if works great. My father has a yacht in florida and this is what he uses and has never had a problem.

Your trailer is a 2012, I would be headed back to the dealer to have it fixed under warranty. If they can't make it rightcall Crossroads. If it is that bad now on a new trailer imagine what a couple of years will do to it.

If it gets to the point thatthe finishstarts to oxidize you will never get the finish back. That would not look good on those dark front and rear caps. I hope your dealer makes it right.

Keep us informed, would like to know what the dealer does for you. Have a 2011 and as far as I can tell no problems. Have been topside to clean roof and have not noticed any fading, will need to take some time, soon, to wax..... not looking forward to that.

yes , I will. I have found that an aliminum plank with two laddders work best for me to wax the upper sides. First time I just used a ladder and with moving every few feet , took me forever to do just one side. Good luck.

We took our PP into Camping World this morning for its normal "take a trip something breaks service" and there were two Redwoods there with the top 1/4 of the front caps badly faded (non-full body paint). My wife even commented on how bad they look for such a new upper end unit. I have no idea what they were there for but I would have been pissed if I owned one and it looked like that.
