Okay, I will be the odd man out here. I have a RBW Lil Rocker and after almost 5 years it still works great. It will come down to your personal choice.

Don't feel alone there Hunter... I have a Husky 16K slider hitch and have never had a problem with it. Going on 4 years now. Keep it serviced and she works like a charm. I do believe they had to put Reese rails on my truck when I last got them installed. This hitch was given at a deal when I purchased my Crossroads Cruiser from the dealership.

No your not!

We have the same hitch, I think is rated for 15 or 16K. I like it, it's got the bar that slides across to lock King Pin in.

Both Bro-in-Laws have the jaw type I don't like that setup. (JMHO)

Hay Hunter your rbk is the same style as my 15,000 lb reese slider. I have the crossbar also anr like it a lot.

We have the Reeses 16K slider and have had no issues at all. I will add however, that in addition to the truck hitch you also may want to look at an aftermarker pin box. There are several out there that have rubber "donuts", shocks and other designs to make the towing of a 5er smoother. I know my 5er tows ALOT, I say again ALOT smoother with our Glyde ride box. They cost a bit of $$ but in my opinion well worth the money. Chucking is darn near eliminated.

I have a Reese 16K hitch with the round bar slider. Works as sold and seems well made. I would second the pinbox change to reduce chucking.

Ok another question about the pin box we are looking at the 30sk (patriot)that comes with a new pinbox is that similar to the moorride pinbox and im pretty sure im going with a big super fifth wheel hitch a buddy of mine has a big inferno and it would be nice if we could share towing so im looking at the 22000 super

I have a Reese 18K FW hitch installed,which I have not used yet, since my new Seville 35RL is still in COLD storage. The 18K hitch is built differently than lighter units on latch mechanism.

I also have a Draw-Tite 30K gooseneck hitch installed, and would have preferred to use it, but Lipperty would have killed the frame warrantee, if I attached an adapter to the Fifth Wheel hitch pin.

Wow, no one with a B&W so far? I started using a B&W companion hitch 4 years ago. I ran this hitch commercially for 2.5 years in the RV transport industry and now use it for my own trailer. It plugs right into the B&W goose neck hitch and when removed there are no rails so you have a nice flat bed floor. This was a big selling point for me. They are rated at 18k and have positive no slop heavy duty jaws that encircle the entire pin, not just a flat bar at the back like some others have. Well your not alone. I have the B&W companion hitch. When I bought my truck it had the B&W turnover ball already installed. I have had no problems with this hitch.

I have a Valley and have never had a problem......however when I took it apart this summer to lubricate....I could not get the pivot pin out.Had to go to discount hitch (where I purchased it) and they had to take it out of my truck and pound on it with a very heavy sledge. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

They told me it was warped......however could not explain why.

Suggested I replace itâ€?.cost about $45.

I have a pullrite superslide 18K auto slider which I needed for my shortbed. Works very well and will probably save the front of the trailer and rear of the truck someday.

Only problem with this type of hitch is you do need an adaptor for it to work and if you are towing other trailers you will have to install the adapter before towing.

Ihavethe Hijacker 24-UMS-21 due to the undermount design leaving my box smooth when removed. I attached that to a new King pin aFifthairborne Sidewinder. No issues.
