Also check your plug and look at the brass pieces inside there that make contact with the trucks female end. I noticed mine were a little flattened, so I did what Im describing below.
The pins insdie the the plugshould be split on the ends. What you do is take a small screwdriver and put the end in between the split end of the pins to open them up a little so they contact real good with the femal plug end. Other types could need to be just spread open a bit to accomplish the same thing to make good contact.
