Theslide floor on my cruiser has detatched from the wall. I've done a search on what to do about it but to no avail. Has anyone else had this happen? How do you repair this properly? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Edited by: towhead

Towhead, we need more info. Please post a picture or two. Then maybe we will have a possible solution to the problem.

How old is the trailer? Is it out of warranty?

Contact Randy at Crossroads and find out how to best fix it. I replaced the black plastic guides on the bottom of the S/O a few weeks ago and could see that the aluminum frame of the sidewall sits on top of the floor, but I could not tell how they are attached. My guess would be with recessed screws up thru the bottom of the floor and into the aluminum frame, but I'm not sure.

towhead-It seems to me that someone else had this problem a while back and posted about it. It may be on the "old" forum and I don't know if it is still accessible, my guess is that it is not. Maybe they will see this and reply.

Thanks for the replies guys. It is a 2005 cf29rl and is of course out of warranty. The separation is at the left end of the slide near the rear of the trailer. I do not have a digital camera to take and post pictures with but can say that there is light coming through the crack and the sag is enough to make pulling in the slide difficult.

Can the old forum still be accessed? Edited by: towhead
