I have a 2010sunset trail that has a folding dinette table. The knob, bolt and spring that hold it in place fell off and I am at wits end to figure out how to put the thing back so it holds the table securely upright. here's a pic suggestions appreciated.

Would it be possible to provide more pictures at different angles, so that we can get a better idea on how the assembly is mounted and we'll be able to better suggest a repair.

I was hoping someone who has the same table could look at theirs and compare it to my photo to see what's different. As you can the way it is now would not hold the table in place. Nothing appears broken or missing. But no matter which way I position the slant side of the bolt the table is unsecured. Will try to post some more photos.

It looks to me by the picture, the tapered slider pin hooked on to the end of that big black plastic knurl knob is backwards. It can never lock and hold when its positioned against that nut the way it is.
I've never seen that type setup, so I'm just guessing. More pics would help.

Ya I've positioned that pin in every way possible and no matter which way I put it, it just doesn't lock the table when upright. Before the assembly fell off, the pin would lock the table when I'd bring the table upright. I may have go to the dealer and at look at a camper with same table to compare.
