I've now got my RV permanently parked in my back yard (as opposed to the storage lot where I used to keep it). I've got 15 amp power run to where I park the trailer, and am contemplating keeping the fridge running all summer, so I don't have to empty it between trips. Thoughts? I know the trailer can get toasty when it's warm out and everything is sealed up. Also not sure if the fridge would handle this type of duty?

Thanks!

Our Fridgeis on allthe time from May long till Thanksgiving weekendsince we bought it with no problems...the old plastic cup full of ice cubes in the freezer trick works great for letting you know if there is a cooling problem/failure.

We leave ours on all summer. Only tip - turn it off once or twice. It will prevent ice buildup on back of freezer - which simplifies winterizing.

Since I put in the 30 amp service here at the house, I have found that the fridge in the outside kitchen is a great place to keep beer! ;&gt

I second Tim D's motion! If you leave the hatch to the Outside Kitchen open it's like a drive thru when mowing the grass.
