Front Mounted Bike Rack

I figured out another use for the front hitch on my truck. Originally mounted for a fishing rack. Has anyone mounted bikes to the front of their TV before? I drove around a little with them to see if it would be a distraction. Seems like something I could get used to. I've been trying to figure something out because a few threads have me concerned about mounting bikes to the back of the camper.

The only thing I can see, is it covers your headlights and license plate.

You can get them from a junkyard off of any old rig out there that has one on it. Then just remodel it to fit. I put one on the front of a MH we had for putting the boat in the water.

The problem I see is the headlights being hidden by the bikes.

Damn good point about headlights... Didn't even look at that. You can get a front hitch just about anywhere, mine was on when I bought it. But I like Lloyd's call on the junkyard. You can buy one around $100-$150.

I'll have to take it for a night drive and see how bad it is, thanks for the heads up, made me feel a little stupid, but thanks!

Oh, and that's an Auburn tag... Plenty of Bama fans out there wouldn't have a problem with it being covered up.... WAR EAGLE!!!
