We just bought a new 2013 Cruiser Aire 28FB and have it all set up at home getting it ready for our first trip. Nice upgrade from a popup!
During our delivery inspection with the dealer, the technician told us that it is optional to run the fan or not when operation the furnace. When we turned the furnace on this morning, the fan came on and is constantly running. Is this normal? Or is it true that you can run the furnace with out the fan coming on?.
The fan I am speaking of is the fan for the AC unit in the ceiling that circulates the air thru the vent in the ceiling.
If I remember right, someone else was having a similar problem.
The thermostat fan setting must be in "auto" (not "hi" or "low") to operate the furnace.
I just had the same problem. Do you have the Dometic digital thermostat that measures about 4 inches wide and about 2 1/2 inches from top to bottom. If so there is a good chance that the thermostat is BAD. I called Crossroads and talked to Bill Hodge at 260-593-2866 ext 460. He sent me out a new thermostat NO MORE PROBLEM

OH I forgot. The air conditioner fan will not run, but when the furnace fires off the furnace fan will run. I think you can select the speed, low, med, high, or auto. Not sure of that though, but I am sure the air conditioner fan should NOT run.
