I normally take cash to alleviate the gas card issue. It can be a pain to carry that much cash tho. How about a Visa or Mastercard? Most stations take one or the other.

If you're a Good Sam member, you can get a "Pilot - Flying J" gas credit card, for free (no annual fees either). Card entitles you to I believe 2 or 3 cents off a gallon when you stop for gas at their service stations. I think they give you $1,000 credit on the card, & you can view your monthly statement (or live statement) online. If you're not a Good Sam member, I think it only costs like $20/year, and entitles you to many deals including Camping World & Good Sam campground discounts. Pilot - Flying J website has more details, as well as their thousands of gas bar locations by state.

We use Visa exclusively and never have had a problem buying fuel.

Mastercard or visa are fine both offer cash back options. Pilot Flying J is good deal if you are Good Sam member. They are primarily located on the interstates. Some J's have overnight RV parking if you just need to sleep a nite between destinations

I have my own trucking company and use American Express for my fuel cards. They have a nice rewards program along with them. Also have not found a major fuel stops that do not except them either. Pretty much excepted everywhere. Also have the business gold card they have no intrest and no set credit limit.

I use a Chase Freedom master card for fuel. Pays anywhere from 1% to 5% cash back on different quarterly choices. No annual fee and pay it off every month.

I have never seen a flying J in New England. I use Master card or Visa.

If you have a Wal-Mart Discover card you get $0.15 off per gallon at their on site Murphy stations until July 3rd. They have been doing these campaigns a couple times per year. The standard discount is $0.05 per gallon and you also get 1% cash back as well.I've been told Kroger's have a discount program for their stations as well.

I carry a Wally World Discover, Flying J and a Venture Rewards to allow me options.
