Getting ready to replace the tires on my Paradise Pointe. How are the Goodyear Marathon tires? Anybody have them?

My brother in law just got Goodyear's for his 5er. Not sure which ones though. He blew one out driving to Florida and then had another one (on the opposite side) blow out 45 minutes later. Fortunately everyone is OK. He got the trailer towards the end of last summer.

We just replaced the Missions on our trailer with BFG Commercial LT tires. They were the same price at Discount Tire as the Goodyear Marathons ST tires plus they had a $70 rebate. I have read both good and bad about the Marathons on different forums.

I had them on my last TT. They were replaced, by another set of Marathons, due to age not worn out after about 10 years. (I won't let RV tires go that long again after reading all the info on how RV tires in general start to deteriorate after 4-6 years). They were good tires though.

I just took the tow masters off and changed from 235/80R16 to 235/85R16 LT tires, I went with the Firestone Trans Force, I had them on my truck and I really liked them so I put them on the camper, I can't tell the difeerence towing with and LT as compared to an ST.....and I had no issues with clearance, they work just fine...

I had the Goodyear Marathons on my previous 25' travel trailer. Â*Probably would consider them for the Sunset Trail as well. Â*A great tire for that application.Â*

Â*If I had a 5er I would probably get LT rated tires though. Â*Heavier duty tire handling much more weight and more dynamic forces on a 5er than on a travel trailer.
