Back to subject, We had the big grab handle on our old trailer and after using it for years it became loose because not much in the wall to hook to and with the pressure everyone puts on it it came loose. I did drill thru the wall and put nuts and washers on the inside but it did not look real good. By having both types, we use the big grab handle for the first step and then grab the smaller one for the next 2 steps as it seems to stay tight since the base is tight against the trailer. Also since my wife is short that first step can be come a problem when that step sit 8 in from the ground at some CG. To solve that problem I when to a surplus store and purchased for $5.00 one of those fitness steps that you can adjust the height and use it when the step is to high for her. It does take off the excess pressure on the grab rail... Sorry for getting us off track on this thread. Robbie
