Grey tank level lights

Hi everyone : I was wondering if there is an easy way to clean out the the grey tank, have a ST271RL and we love this trailer. The monitor for the grey tank won’t show full - it will only show 3 lit dots but never the fourth. I can tell the light works because it will flash on when you first push the button... any suggestions would help?

In my experience they never work right. Maybe you’ve never completely filled it.
There is an enzyme you can use in your tank, but you basically have to fill it up with water and the appropriate about of treatment, let it set for a few days then dump. Mine worked better after that.

You can try the GEO method in your gray tanks. Should help.

I've used liquid dish washing detergent in my gray tank, works great. just add some water and detergent and let it slosh around the next time you take it out

Personally I've given up pushing those buttons, although they are quite pretty.

I chose to dispense with the big slinky sewer hose in favor of the 'Valterra Sewer Solution' that uses a 1" waste hose and macerates the waste using available water pressure.

I dump the Black and Grey tanks every third day for the two of us and back flush the pipe and hose.

If my shower pan is slow to drain, I know it's time to dump the grey tank again.

We have dumped a bag of ice down the toilet before we left to go home....the ice will bang around in the tank and help with the cleaning, then he dumps the tank when we get home and flushes it .
