I have a GT26RL. Bought last year and we're really enjoying it. Want to hang a small flat screen in the bedroom near the cable outlet (outlet is in a corner of the ceiling). I want to remove it easily after each outing for storage. The walls seem a bit flimsey to mount a shelf unit. Anyone had any experience hanging shelves on these walls?

If you have a stud finder you can find the studs along the wall and mount to them. You might need to install a piece of wood between two of them theninstall the TV mount to it.

I did mount a TV to the wall but it was a small 19" flat screen and I mounted it using a very narrow mounting system.

I found the wall stud and just used self tapping screws to mount the 2 piece mount to the wall stud. When we travel I am able to take the TV off of the wall and put it on the bed for safe travel. Hence the 2 piece mount set up.

The mount I used is just a tilting mount, not an articulating arm mount.

It works great and I put it right at the foot of the bed as high up as I could which keeps it out of the way and is still low enough to get the TV on and off the wall mount.Edited by: fixit5561
