Ditto on the Happy New Year to all.

I to am looking forward to getting the fiver out and getting on the road again. Sincehunting season just closed in Virginia (where I go) I just winterized (first time) the Cruiser a couple of days ago. So now I can think about the things I want to do to it and where I want to take in April.

Everybody have a safe and healthy 2010.

Best wishes for a healthy and Happy Camper New Year. It's 21 degrees and snowing here in Breckenridge. Now the good news. The Denver RV show starts on the 13th. That gets the juices flowing and the planning motor started!

Happy New Year to you J Ren. Bet you have already made plans to head to Glasier NP, BC and Alberta. You are always way ahead of most of us! Any chance we could tag along behind if we can keep up? Have a good time at the Denver RV show and we plan to go tomorrow to the KC show. Think we are taking little Avery!!!

Hey JJRiff,

We've got a good start on these Glacier N.P. plans but we might need suggestions on where to go after that? Don't know if we can keep up with your FOUR slide Cruiser, we will follow and pick up the pieces. We would like to spend some time in Canada but both of us travel with our own protection devices (pistols) so it looks like this is out of the question Maybe someone reading this can help.

Still have a backyard full of snow but the front is now dry. How about you????

John-

You should see my backyard and front yard here in Breckenridge. Won't see dry ground until late May. But the good news is we're heading out around the first of March for 6-8 weeks. Like Jimmy Buffet sang, "I gotta go where it's warm". We'll come back when the snow's melted. Went to the Denver RV show on Wednesday and came away disappointed by how many dealers were conspicuous by their absence, Kettlesen included. Maybe it'll be bigger next year.

Sure Russ rub it in about heading to a warmer climate, although they say it's going to be in the mid 50's this weekend and remember the days are getting longer.
We just got back from the Rv show and yes it's a lot smaller but many of the units being displayed were sold. That's good.
Kettelsens is having their own open house this weekend Friday and Saturday. Guess it wasn't worth the money to be a part of this show, maybe the one in March?

Have a safe and warm trip.

Thanks, John.

Supposed to be all the way up in the mid 30s here this weekend.

Visited the trailer today in storage in Fairplay. No snow on top, very little around the facility. Of course, the snow doesn't stick to the ground..it blows away in the Fairplay winds. No problems getting out unless something drastic happens weather-wise. Last April we hitched in the dark and left in a snowstorm. Weather was fine by the time we got to Buena Vista and made a left turn for New Mexico. Springtime in the Rockies...Ya never know! I previously bought two trailers from Kettelsen, at the 2003 show and 2005 show. They always showed lots of product and that's mainly why I was suprised they weren't there. Wanted to look at the Cruiser line. I did get an e-mail invite to their sale this weekend. Am glad they're a Crossroads Service Center, but unhappy that they say that if I need work done I have togo to the end of the line being as I didn't buy my current trailer from them. How could I? They don't carry Sunset Trail! Probably have a chat with the service or general manager if I actually need service or warranty work.
