New FW must be haunted, after traveling for a while, DW and I stopped at a rest area for a break, I went back to the bedroom and the roof vent was almost completely open, I never opened it and DW claims she didnt either. I closed it and we continued on our way. Get home late, so today DW goes out to clean up FW and and Bathroom vent is cranked open most of the way. Has anyone ever had this happen. Evidently the handles must be turninig while traveling and opening up the vents, had my last FW 11 years and never seen this. Checked my 2-5 year warranty and it doesnt cover ghosts.

Sorry I had to laugh at that comment. No I have never seen that happen either. Did you try explaining to your ghost that Halloween is over so he/she needs to go find another place to take a vacation.

At least it appears to be a friendly ghost.

I dont think there is anyway the wind from moving could be opening them. Maybe try to convince DW to ride in FW for a couple hundred miles and watch them, while she cooks supper.

I had the same thing happen on the Montana we used to own. It seemed that if the cover was not closed real tight it would work its way open - May have been due to cross winds

Had this happen to my bunkroom cover. Added MaxxAir II to all the vent covers never happened again.

Also, not that you also add some silicon spray to the slide posts to make the cranking easier as it the vents will get harder to crank over time.
