We are living in our fifth wheel as we have to be out of state because of medical reasons. My question is "If we are still here (Indiana) this winter, has anyone used the Eden Pure to heat their camper & using the furnace as back up. I know we have to fill in around the base of our camper & all that stuff.

we don't camp in the winter, but we do early spring and fall camping, I have 2 of the Eden Pure heaters and we like them very much, we do use one in the camper and it works good, they use very little electricty and they are really safe, but I don't think for a minute it would work in the dead of the winter, crossroads does not make a 4 season unit, and I don't think even with the furnce could you keep warm, we use the 2nd one in the house because I have a oom the stays cool, it does a good job at that, but to have just that it wouldn't work....

IMHO over priced and over hyped. All electric heaters are 100% efficient. Any 1500w electric heater will produce the same amount of heat. There is no magic here other then you're paying for Bob Vila's paycheck.
