Had a lid laying on corner of stove. Somehow I turned the burner on under it. It got hotttttt before I noticed it. Repair ideas?

I place a ceramic tile beside the stove so I can put hot things on it. I do this at home this too. I get those little stick on things so your cabinet doors don't make noise and use them for little feet. You can cover the damage this way too.
