did anybody see HGTV RV2011 on New Years day? Not much on TT or 5ers, but they made a point to show Montana's new 5er with a LV over the KingPin. I know a handful of mfg's had these in the past, but I wonder with Montana now offering this floorplan if others will offer one too.

I thought the double slide was interesting. That's probably an alignment nightmare. I also thought the front living room was an interesting concept.

We love our front living room layout on our Silverado for some of the same reasons they mentioned in the show. New things every year sure are interesting.

the front living room is not a new thing, the PP had it, it was not a big seller, and I think it was even in the silverado, I talked to Keystone about the front living room I was told the floor plan comes out every 4 or 5 yrs, they build it for a year and then it's discontinued it for a few yrars, for what I was told ih has a pretty high pin weight and if you look at the Montana it has very little kitchen counter space...

the advantage that Crossroads built into the front living room floorplan was that it enabled the coach to have a basement both in front and in back. For snowbirds that extra storage is really valuable. The other reason I like it is that people don't have to walk through the kitchen while I'm cooking to get inside thus avoiding bumping into me when I 've got a pan full of hot food or taking something out of the oven. It also usually puts the bedroom away from the road in front and makes it quieter.

Yep...I watched the show...kind of interesting and yes, those front living room floorplans have been around a few years. Some friends of ours had a upper middle end Terry I think that had this feature. They must not have liked it too well as they traded it two years later for a motorhome. There are a couple of big shows in chicago and st. louis coming up, but I think I willl just wait until the rally
