I have a 2020 Sunset Trail 330SI, the kitchen bump out, does anyone know where the venting for the hood above the stove should be on the outside of my trailer?
If you could share a photo that would be great.
I don't think mine is hooked up. If you look at the picture, I have included a picture with a yellow box, that is where mine is and when you open it you just have the side of the trailer, no holes. Inside behind that yellow box is cabinets and there is no hose for the exhaust vent, plus why in the heck would it come across the entire RV. I need help on where this should vent out please.
Check your manuals - The one for the Microwave/vent. I checked a few sites and it looks like it has a ventless vent as I did not see one on any campers I looked at on line.

If my memory serves me correctly, (ugh) there has been talk on the forum in the past about trailers being produced without an out side vent for the range.
I thought at the time it was rather peculiar they would do that. Everybody knows that gas ranges produce CO.
Just looked at a bunch of campers your model. Have a few questions. Is your kitchen in the door side slide? If you open the overhead cabinet what is behind the vent? Are you the original owner?
All the 2019 models I looked at the kitchen is on the door side. All the 2020 models it is on the road side. But the one thing both model years have in common is the lack of a outside vent. So the range hood must be ventless. It just filters the air and then recirculates it back into the room.
What the vent in your picture is for who knows but I could not find a listing that had that. If you bought it pre owned who knows why it was put there.

My kitchen is on the door side, the only slide out on that side. You walk in RV turn left immediately and you are in the kitchen.
If you had a hood vent, it would vent directly through the wall at the hood.. no ductwork involved. If you have no vent at that location, you have a ventless hood. Turn on the fan, you will feel air blowing out the top of the hood, through the louvers.
