I have an Atwood Water heater.
THis past camping trip i noticed that I have hot water coming out the hot and cold sides in all sinks, bathtub and toilet.

Make sure your hot water heater valves are set for summer, not winterizing.

Can they move on their own. It has not done this all Spring. Working well till this last trip out.
Maybe a failed shut off? Failed check valve?

It takes a little force (not much) but no they can turn on their own. Also make sure your outside shower is turned off by the knobs and not left on and just the head is turned off. That can let the hot water mix as well.

If your water hose is sitting in the sun, you may very well get a good amount of hot water in you cold water pipes.

Try letting it run for about 3 or 4 minutes

The same thing can happen if you have an outdoor shower and the valves have been left on and the water was shut off at the shower head. This allows the hot and cold water to mix inside the faucet. I suppose this could also happen with the inside shower. Make sure the valves are shut and not just at the head.
