Ok, I admit I'm new to the site. I am having problems downloading a picture to my Icon and downloading pictures where I reply to a post. I guess the only stupid question, is the one you don't ask. Right? Any advice would help. Thanks Deputydog

Why? You had it earlier when you posted those frames from Photobucket which said the photos had been removed or relocated.

Try doing that again after you verify that the photo you are linking to is still where you link to.

You need to add [img] to the front of your picture link and /img with brackets (like the front) at the end of your link. When you add this the photo should appear. If you are still getting the image in the post that states "this image has been moved or deleted" you will need to check in Photobucket to make sure the photo is still there. If the photo is still there then place your cursor over the photo and a panel will appear at the bottom, click on the Image Code link to highlight it, right click and copy it. Then you should be able to post it to the forum or anywhere else you want it to appear by right clicking the mouse and click paste. Hope that this helps. Adding photos can sometimes be frustrating, but once you have done it you will find that it wasn't so hard afterall.

Since you have your picture stored on Photobucket maybe these few instruction will help.

1: If you want to insert a picture for your signature, you'll need to proportionately resize it to about200 pixels wide.

2: Go intoyour Crossroads forumprofile toedit it. In theSignature part of yourprofile, insert your information andadd the link to your picture. This can be done by going toPhotobucket and copying the image url. You can get this link directly from Photobucket when you view the thumbnails. There are usually several links to each picture provided by Photobucket.

3:To illustrate what you should have, I'll use "(" and ")" round brackets instead of the required "[" and "]" square brackets and use my signature picture as an example:

Note, when Iused the round bracketsthere was no picture but whenI use the square brackets, the picture appears.
