Hi. If you add your camper year make and model to your signature it helps others to help you. As for your oven there are different brands and models but your has a pilot light that you have to light while you push in on the knob. It is usually At the back of the burner tube to one side or the other. Also if you know the brand and model of stove you could do a search online for a manual. Sorry to be vague but we just need more info.

You’ll need to push in the knob for the oven once you have turned it to pilot. Inside of the oven, you’ll need to put a long lighter or match. Hold it until the pilot stays lit. Once it is lit, you can release the knob and turn it to your desired setting. If you turn it to pilot after you’re done, the pilot will stay lit. Make sure to turn it off if/when back in storage.
Can anyone tell me how to light the oven? So far we have only used the stove. There is a button that says pilot.
Under bottom tray jnside oven is the burner. On right side is pilot tube. Push knob that says pilot and place long lighter lit next to pilot tube. Wait for pilot to light. Wait 5 srconds, turn oven knob up to desired setting. These ovens do not have standing pilot. Meaning they go out when oven is turned to off. This process has to be done each time you want to use oven.
Make sure you hold the knob in while your lighting. After pilot lights, continue to hold in for approximately 5 seconds before you release the knob. Then turn to desired temp.

Also if it’s a new trailer don’t be upset if the oven and/or pilot keeps going off on you. Sometimes there’s air in the line and you’ll just have to keep relighting until the air moves out
It just makes it so much easier if you put what you are working on in the post. As said some have pilot lights and the newer ones have spark ignition. It just helps us to help you. But good instructions have been provided either way.
Happy Camping.

Thanks everyone. I am going to give it a try. My husband is a bit afraid of propane I think. He hasn't tried the propane on the fridge or hot water heate, and he turns it on for cooking and then turns it back off.

We use our propane on fridge while traveling or if we’re dry camping. We use the propane on hot water heater while dry camping or also use the propane and the electric on the water heater at the same time. The electric will keep the water hot but when we get ready to shower we’ll turn on the propane to give us quick recovery while showering. We also bake in the oven all the time with propane. Nothing to be afraid of there.
