Installing solar panels

I would like to install a solar panel on the roof of my 2015 Springfield. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should bring the wires down to my charge controller?

Depends on where you are going to mount the charge controller.

Some bring them down the stack for the fridge.
I brought mine down one of the sewer pipe vents, and then out into the top of the closet. My charge controller is mounted in the closet wall.

Go Power sells a nice device that you mount on your roof and you plug the solar panels into it. It's called a cable entry plate. This is how I would do it, for a clean installation.

Bert, you still have to get the wires thru the roof. Why monkey around with another junction? That's just another place for trouble to start, and lose of juice.
