I have a 2007 CF30SK, and I want to install a Curt Adjustable RV Class III receiver.

I have a 100 lb portable generator that I want to carry at the rear of the fifth wheel. I don't want tocarry the generatoron a bumper hitch. I assume I will have to drill holes into the frame and bolt the hitch to the frame.

Anyone have any experience bolting a hitch to the frame or have any thoughts on issues I need to be careful of? Does the frame get compromised?

I don't plan to tow, butonlycarry the generator on a hitch carrier.

thanks,
