Issue or just new

Hello and i just got my first camper a week ago it is a 2018 18rd and im having a issue i think. When it is hooked in to power in my garage the lights and every thing works but when not plugged in i dont have any power except to the tank monitors that read ¾ when they are empty but read correctly when hooked to shore power. All fuses are good. Is there something ive missed or could it be a bigger issue?

The only items that will have power when not hooked up to shore power is the 12v system.

Overhead lights furnace, water heater, etc. Most likely, your propane monitor as well.

If your house batteries are not good and don't give a good 12.6 or higher, it can cause all sorts of issues. I would check your battery voltage. Typically, a normal 12v battery will only last 3 yrs or so.

Thank you ill get the battery checked. And if not plugged into shore power my over head lights wont work, co2 monitor, and furnace ignitor wont work. The only thing i can get any power to when not plugged in is the tank monitor which wont read correctly so as i am typing this a battery not putting out the right amount of power does seem likely

If you have a volt meter, check it out when it's not plugged in to shore power. It should read about 12.6 Volts.

Also, is there 2 battery compartments? If so, I found adding the second battery was very helpful!

In your battery compartment do you have an insolation switch between trailer and battery? Switch may be in off position.
