I'm going to install a complete set of tires on our cruiser and I am bringing it to a friends tire shop to do it at. In order to change both wheels on one side at the same time which is the correct way of doing it?

I think I would do one at a time if it was me, Safeest way. Put your jack under the axle where the u-bolts come down. Just behind the wheel.

I agree with gtoguy But you can do the 2 on one side if you have a jack stand on one and a jack on the other. one at a time would be the safeest.

When my rims were replaced under warrantee the local tire shop (Les Schwab) jacked up one side with two floor jacks, placed under each axle at the U-bolts. No problems.

I bought a trailer buddy. I just pulled the unit up on one wheel and took the other one off. Than backed it down and did the other wheel. Having said this, I did check with Crossroads and the said jack them up under the U bolts

I just had my trailer to the dealer for PA State Inspection and the put a hydraulic floor jack between the two wheels and lifted both off the ground at the same time. Maybe the lighter weight of the ST allows them to do this.
