I have always jacked my units up by using a bottle jack under the axle.
After seeing what happened to Ridgemans axle, and all the talk about jacking strictly under the frame ( apparently that is per Lippert instructions) it has me second guessing the way I have done it. So, question is--what does everybody think of using a trailer-aid?? I suppose the correct question would be, what does Lippert think of using it??

Lloyd I have something similar, and have found it very useful. It is quick and easy. If I am going to repack the wheel bearings with it I put a safety jack underneath the spring. I think there is less stress using it than the jack method

I don't know what Lippert says but I can't imagine they would be against it. I use one and like it. It is not as easy to pack the bearings with it, but I feel safer. It is great for changing tires.

A trailer-aid is on order. We'll just see how it works out.
