Does the Kingston have 30A or 50A power? The website says 30A, but the brochure says 50A.

Thanks,

Greg

That's from the official build page. It looks like most floorplans force the 50amp/fireplace option.

Our KF34TB Kingston has 50A as it is pre wired for dual air conditioners. This came standard with our fifth.

I would agree, the base is 30, but just about any package takes you to 50.

I have 50 amp service and it's great, run whatever you want and no need to worry about popping a breaker, the down side is the cord.....hard to roll up, and teriible to roll up in cold weather...but it's worth the hassle..

I agreewith both points. I was more than a little shocked (no pun intended) the first time I got a look at the 50 amp cord.

The first (only) time we used our 5er was in 18 degree weather, with snow. Although the snow mostly melted by the time we broke camp I still had to contend with stowing the "Queen Mary shore line." I ended up throwing it in the truck bed to get going. Then I put it in the house cellar until it warmed up enough to wind.

However, come this summer when the temps soaring into the 80's, it will be well worth it when we use the ACs.
