My landing gear legs were making a ton of noise going up or down. Upon inspection I found a zerk fitting on the legs. Since my unit came prepped for a generator, I had to pull the gen cabinet. I checked my owners manual and see nothing about having to grease the legs. Butthegreasecured the noise.

This trailer constantly teaches me new things

Has anyone ever greased their landing legs?

Yes Bevel gears there that like a little lub . also gears under the slide outs that should be lubed occasionally. We are pulling a 2011 30 SB. Currently in Benson Az for the winter.

Hello Grant,
No. I have not lubed the landing gear.
Please, tell me more. Where were those fittings located? On the motor gear box or on the leg? I wonder if the Cruiser will have them.

Well now I've got to go look - but it's killing me to know because ours is in storage and I won't be by there in awhile. Maybe someone could appease me with a pic?

Here is a picture of the passenger leg, mine was painted black so it was pretty hidden.

Thank you! I'll bring the grease gun next time I head out to the camper... hopefully mine has the fittings.
