LED lighting

I installed LED lights up my stairs in our fifth wheel and I would like to connect them to a dimmer switch. Can anyone tell me if I can use a house style dimmer switch or do I need something different?
Thanks

led lights have to be a certain type to be "dimmeable" i believe. i've been gradually replacing the lights in the house and the boxes say dimmable or non-dimmable. not sure is rv led lights are same. i ve replaced all lights in rv with led i got from ebay. they work and if to bright, use cuptowel as dimmer. lol
