2007 Hampton. I can't figure out how to get the covers off to change the bulbs in my recessed lights. I'm starting to feel dumb. I've tried more than one. Does the cover screw off?

There are no dumb questions here, just opportunities to learn from others who have more experienced. Not sure about your lights, but some only require a gentle squeeze from the sides for the cover to pop off; no tools required.

Thanks for the help these have a flush glass cover and metal housing. The glass lense
Is somewhat flower looking out the outside edge. I swear the glass lense should spin off but
I can not budge them. I tried to pry them away from the housing but started
To chip the glass edge. Anyone?

On my Rushmore they simply turn, countercloskwise, (I believe) about a quarter turn and the slots should line up for the cover to come down, then line up the protuding lip with the slot and turn back on .... Careful to not touch the bulb with bare fingers, the oils will cause them to burn out ...

Thanks Ruck i just had to pull the unit out of the ceiling to grip housing and cover.
It was a turn counter clockwise at that point. They were tight. Thanks again for the help!

No prob. Just don't care for the way the new bulbs plug in, sometimes hard to get the prongs into the holes, my fingers get in the way, I sometimes have to hold a flashlight in my mouth while trying to seat the bulbs, and then my tongue gets in the way...., cuz it helps depending on how you hold your tongue ...........
