Question Maxxfan 3 beeps only

This is our first RV with a Maxxfan. Actually we have two, one in main living area of coach and one in bathroom. Both have a wall controller.

Both were functioning fine. We decided to test out the automatic rain feature on Sunday evening. Opened both units, both closed when rain hit the rain sensors.

Now only the one in the bathroom functions properly. The one in the main living area only beeps 3 times no matter what button is pushed. I read the manual which states that the unit will do this until the sensor dries. I was able to open the lid manually, however when I push any button it just closes.

Has anyone else run into this before I call the manufacturer? The sensor should have dried by now, it hasn't rained since Sunday evening.

Oh, is it a Maxxfan or Maxxair? The wall "switch" reads Maxxfan, the fan blade reads MaxxAir.

Thanks

Can you power the unit down? Not sure if there is a built in fuse or or you would have to disconnect all power from the camper. I'd cut all power, see if it will reset.
If not, call Manufacturer.

The sensor is level with the trailer. If water pools on it, it's conceivable that the water is not dried yet. If you can walk on the roof, its easy to see the sensor with the vent open.

I won't be back to it before Friday. If it isn't working then I will cut shore puwer and dead switch to battery and see if it resets.
