Mineral Spirits

We found Mineral Spirits clean the slide seals really well. My question is, is their any surface I need to be careful about getting it on to? TheClear Coat? And should I wash it off with soap and water. or, no need to?

There is no "clear coat" on the exterior finish so no problem there. I would however not get it on the decals.

You are more then likely aware that mineral spirits is a paint thinner----with that said, I agree with what Keith stated to not get it on your decals. I don't know what effect it has on the material in the slide seals. Myself, I have always used W-D 40 to clean the seals. Then try to get it washed off with soap and water.
