Model/Year help, newbie

Hello All,
Newbie here. We had to purchase a camper for a family member in dire need of a place to stay for a bit.
We aren’t very knowledgeable about campers. We need to buy some replacement parts and we can’t figure out what year/model we have!
It didn’t have a title and was sold as a 2011 but that is not the case. I can’t find the VIN tag.
It says Crossroads on it but not a Model and it does say Prep Series on the side.
I’ve searched the internet for days trying to find a picture of one similar to no avail.
Maybe somebody on here can help. Then I can hunt down a manual.

I hope it’s not stolen. I would think it would have a sticker on the side or vin unless it’s stolen. And no title?????? Sounds suspicious to me.

By my research Crossroads made a Prep series from 1998 to 2001. with several different model numbers in different lengths. one other thing you could try but with its age it would long shot. on a upper kitchen cabinet door they put the trailer specs on a paper. It may still be there and may not.

I did look in all of the cabinets, nothing! Ugh
That info is very helpful. That gives me a year range. The water tank in the cabinet behind the toilet has Crossroads 7-8-99 written on it. Wasn’t sure if it was the original one though. Probably is.
This one is 28’.

I hope not. We figured, no title no problem….we can file for a new title but we can’t find a VIN sticker.
There is an Electrical Union sticker on it with a number. Can you track via that?

The vin# is usually stamped on the top of the hitch A frame.

In 1999 the model number for a 28 ft is M 1028FKS and the same for 2000. There should be on the tongue somewhere etched in the serial number. It may be covered with several coats of paint given its age.

As far as a manual they were very generic at best. If you have questions about the operation of the appliances the best thing is to get the model number from them and the manufacture and look it up. Most have owners manuals on line.

What are the parts that you need? I do not think you will find much other than a rv/camper salvage yard. But if you need any of the appliances there are replacements that you would have to make work.

If you have further questions just ask. Best of luck.

Thank You!!!!
Russb advised that the VIN is stamped also.
BINGO!!
Scrubbed thru dirt and found it!! I was looking for a stamped plate.
It’s a 2000. Called Crossroads and they emailed me a manual for 2002 which may be pretty close.
Also…checked VIN…not stolen LOL

You guys have been so helpful!! It’s greatly appreciated!!

Get ready for many more questions LOL
