No, there is no light symbol. just on and off, like the bedroom light switches.

I guess the next step is to take the switch out and see if I can trace wires.

Have you ever turned the switch on, then went around to each and every receptacle and light switch. Turned each one one individually to see if a light came on or not, and plugged a light into each receptacle one at a time.
Or you could start with the switch off and turn it on for each light or receptacle, to trace it down.
Shouldn't be all that difficult to find what it controls, or if it controls anything.

With that type of switch it will/should be only operating a 12 volt fixture of some sort, it's not rated for 120 volt.

It might not even be wired...could be a quick fix or hide for a hole inthe wall...

I found it!
Its the ceiling light by the screen door, bath door, and linen closet.
It was turned off at the fixture.

If so that would b an easy way to turn a light in the dark....panel not the best way to feel for the right switch...

Yep

I feel like an idiot. I'm pulling the switch, tracing wires saying to myself, it sure is dark over here, you'd think they would have some kind of light.
