Need some help 2004 cruiser 26bh

Hey guys just bought this cruiser and need help figuring everything out with it. It needs some work can't find an owners manual for it for starters. Previous owner knew nothing about it really so there's the switch panel right next to the main door most of the switches are not labeled and couldn't figure out what all of them do. Couple of things I couldn't get to work was the fridge on ac or propane... Most if the lights don't work thermostat doesn't seem to work for heat or ac. When I plugged it into 110 the only things that really worked were they 110 outlets the batteries were at 3v so I put them on the charger over night but shouldn't the converter power everything 12v and charge the batteries as well. Also does this system have an inverter function to where when only on batteries will then power my 110 ant info would be great thanks.

This is a little off the cuff.. but it sounds like the battery was hooked up backwards. There is a fuse in the thermostat that blows. Also the the radio and some of the fuses in the main panel. The main fuses have to be both good before applying power as they ( at least in other models) work in parallel.

Sounds like a bad converter. Check the breakers to see if the breaker for the converter has not tripped. The refrigerator needs 12 volt to run. Either battery or converter. Unless someone added one there is no "inverter"

On my 05 cruiser we have 1 110 volt light fixture above the table. All the other lights are 12 volt.

I have a '03 28BH that is probably pretty similar. I think you probably have some tripped breakers or blown fuses to start off with. It will be hard to go much farther in trouble shooting until you get that part sorted out.

The first to check is the battery disconnect, if it's off the batteries will not charge from shore power. If it was stored with the disconnect off the batteries will have drained in just a few days as that disconnect DOES NOT totally disconnect all parasitic drains. Only sure way to store is remove the negative battery cable.
Sounds like the batteries may be toast as the fridge & furnace control boards, thermostat & all the lights are 12 volt. If by chance they're at or over 5 years old it's time for replacements.
Check battery water levels.
Check converter voltage, disconnect shore power, Remove the + & - battery cables & check voltage at those cables with the converter running, should be 13+ volts.
While batteries are disconnected check their voltage, should 12.5+ volts.
Several things the check before spending $$$ on a new converter unnecessarily.
Also unless the PO added it for some reason you will not have an inverter.
One other thing, don't fret too much over the lack of owners manuals, they are VERY generic & were not specific to your RV. Most all the appliances can be found online & any other questions ask here.

Put a battery charger directly on battery. Charge it that way.
Then check if you have lights. Almost everything is run on 12vdc in a camper.
Check the main breaker in panel. Thenk check that the converter gets 120vac. I’ve actually seen converters not charge due to extremely low batteries.
Once battery/batteries are charge to 12vdc then check voltage with unit plugged in to shore power. You should see 12.8-14.0 vdc at batteries. Depending on charge level.
