Which plug is corroded, the one on the truck or the one from the 5'er?

CRC makes a spray cleaner for electrical contacts. If the corrosion is really bad, try a mixture of baking soda and water, then follow up with CRC Contact Cleaner. Then check out the plug.

If you can figure out which wire is the brake wire, then get a sharp point and pierce the wire's rubber coating (when plugged into the truck) and check for voltage. Keep in mind that newer controllers use a pulsing voltage so digital voltmeters aren't fast enough to read the voltage. My GM is that way (not sure about the Fords)...you have to use an analog meter and then will see the needle pulse.

do yourself a favor, DO NOT Peirce the rubber. It is a sure way for that to corrode. Use a multimeter on the terminals themselves, then jump from the battery positive to the brake termals, you will hear a buzz noise in the wheels if there is power there.

the factory controlers for the brakes will not work under a specific speed, I think 20 mph.
Also try the trailer with another truck and the truck with another trailer to eliminate the truck or trailer as the problem.

Earlier Ford built in units would not work up to 5 mph, when the auto lock system hadn't activated. That was changed for the 2006 year and later so this should not be an issue for you.
Also, your blue wire is the designated color specific to your brakes.
Does you controller at the dash show green when applied? If it does, it sees a clear path to the brakes. If it shows red, it could very easily be your 7 pin connection.
Go back to your trailer brakes when the integrated controller is pushed and listen for a hum at the trailer brakes. If so, you have power back that far.
You also have a set of dedicated fuses under the hood for towing. Check these to be sure they're okay too.

Until you take care of the "somewhat corroded condition" connecting it to another vehicle is useless. Clean the contacts first. Then troubleshoot. If not, you're wasting your time.

X2! Here is diagram of the connectors. Jump from terminal 2 to terminal 4 to activate the brakes if the trailer's battery is charged.

Ok he tried plug on another camper, no brakes. Took truck back to place that just installed FW hitch and plug in and people said must be the brake controller. We didn't touch that! How do we get it checked, go to the dealer?

When my rig is connected and I slide the lever to the right on the built in controller, I can read a display on the dash what the power level is 0 to about 8 or 9 ( I think). My display will also read "trailer connected". Do you have a display like that?

Power level usually goes from 0 to9, but now nothing...since they installed the in bed plug, now neither bed or bumper not working. Ideas on how to check appreciated.

It sounds like they installed it wrong or didn't hook something up correctly. If you can't take it to the location that installed it, you might be able to find another hitch installer to have a tester put on it (U-haul?). I know you mentioned in the above post you tried that but.....
The only other thing I can think of is to start tracing wires.
