Overhead lights
I am having an issue with my overhead lights inside the trailer. Every 30 minutes or so, they go off, then come back on after 5 minutes. This seems to affect the ac and water heater as well. A service man says there is no electrical issue.
Anyone have a similar issue. It is a 2006 model

Now THAT's a strange issue! The lights are 12v, the AC is 120v and the water Heater is 120v on elec and 12v on gas (if you have DSI). Almost sounds like they are overheating, cooling off and then coming back on, but I know of no relay to cause this. Could be a bad switch but don't know why it would affect the A/C. How does it affect the A/C and WH specifically? If you turn off 1 or two of the ceiling lights, does it still do it? Interesting.

Check the converter, specifically the 12v accessory circuit, it feeds the water heater control board and thermostat, they require 12v to operate. I would think that there is more than 1 circuit bad if it also affects the lights. Could be the whole 12v side of the converter. Does everything else (ie furnace, fridge, all lights and any fans), also shut off?
I had a similar problem with one set of lights, I just switched the wire to an empty circuit on the converter and moved the fuse. No problem since then.

Overheard lights
Thanks for the replies.
Camp McKay, do you mean inverter rather than converter?
All of the lights , water heater and furnace go off at the same time. We thought the issue would be with the campgrounds power source, but it isn't.
Would this inverter be part of the fuse panel

No, converter is correct. An inverter takes low voltage DC and outputs 120 volts AC. A converter takes the 120V AC and outputs 12V DC. Few campers have an inverter. Your converter should be part of the power distribution center, behind where the fuses and circuit breakers are located.

converter
sounds like converter going out, it will affect your a/c and water heater if you loose 12 volts, cause a/c thermostat runs off 12 volt and control board in waterheater is 12volts
