Has anyone come up with an after market replacements for those silly little plastic inserts that screw into the ends of the ladder rungs? The sun and weather tend to weaken these and I keep breaking them out. I'm not a heavy weight but I can't seem to be gentle enough to keep from breaking these little boogers..I have to carry a ladder around with me now because I can't depend on the installed ladder to hold up for me.
I called the manufacture of the ladder for the end caps. They had a minimum order requirement so I had to get a few extra. Also at the same time I did look around at some of the RV surplus sites to find them. I found the manufacture being the best price I just had to buy more than I needed but I have some on hand when the next one falls apart.
