Question Porch Light Removal/Bulb Replacement???

2013 Zinger Destination Trailer:

Porch light next to sliding glass door is out.

How the heck do I remove the unit or lens to replace bulb?

I feel like I am going to break the assembly so I have stopped short of manhandling it until I can get clarification on how it is actually mounted.

I do not have or am I familiar with your model, but if you post a picture of the light fixture I am sure someone on this forum, maybe even me, would be able to help you...

I appreciate the reply. I got it figured out, but I busted the lens cover in the process. There are a few tabs that you need to release with a small flat screw driver. However, as I mentioned before, I thought it was going to break as there was no flexibility in the cover. And as soon as I applied pressure it cracked. I am guessing due to it being sun beaten and weather checked the plastic gave way.

Sorry to hear that, but as you know now it's very easy to replace the whole light in case you can't find a cover to fit...

Cover is replaceable. My 2012 Zinger also broke due to sun degradation.
Got it on line, search RV supply places, can’t recall but I found it easy.

Have you looked for a video about it on YouTube yet? There might be one that does. Sometimes even on TikTok there are helpful tips on electronics-related accounts. My Vont bulbs are very easy to replace because they have a great view of the edges of their socket.
Plus, LED bulbs can be touched with your bare hands right after they work because they barely heat up. I have rough hands with lots of calluses, so I could be wrong. Do it during the day. Take a little flat screwdriver, the smallest screwdriver you have, to pry the bulb out of its socket.

FYI, This thread is over a year old, but the OP may see it.
