Portable Power System

Does anyone have any experience with this thing?

It sounds wonderful - almost too good to be true.

Sorry Cliff but they work great, I own 3 myself and love them. I purchased mine after seeing them in use at SEMA, don't let the size fool you. I've not had a need to jump a car battery but I've used it to power my electronic devices when on several 3 day trips in the woods when I didn't have power. I have one in my truck, my wife has one and the other is a spare.

Better recalibrate you detector. It' considerably off. I happened across this on another forum and I'm curious about it. I would, however, consider investing if it's a good product :-)

Thanks for the feedback. I'm seriously considering getting a couple of these, so your comments give me some semblance of confidence.

After you have jumped off your diesel let me know. While battery design has progressed greatly lately up to the LiPo type the current needs to jump start a vehicle are just not there, yet. If it was advertised as an emergency power source, OK. Look at the size of the wires? Big enough to carry the 3-400 amps needed. Not at all. Ohms law is a law and not a suggestion.

While their demo was interesting it proved nothing. A load rating using current testing equipment would convince me. Run your Miracle battery by Wally World and have them load test it for you. Might be interesting.

That video was impressive. May have not been a diesel...but impressive none the less. Wonder what gauge the wire is? Looks smaller than those on my ATV.
