I have a 2006 cruiser and am considering using a power washer.

Has anyone had a problem with the decals becoming loose/ coming off?

Also, any problems with washing the roof?

I will not power wash areas around caulking.

I have considered usingmy power washer on the outside of our trailer but I've refrained because I don't want any of the decalsto get blown off. That said, I have used it to wash off some mud that I picked up on wheels and wheel wells. I don't think that washing the roof with a power washer is a good idea because it may tear off some of the roofing material.

I use the power washer on the sidewalls and such to wash the camper. I set the nozzle diffuiser to full, it makes the water a wide pattern with not much "ommph" behind it - about the same strength as a hose at full blast.

As for the roof, I don't use the power washer up there out of concern that the pressure will push water under any small cracks or openings in the caulking/seams.

For the roof I have had good luck with a scrub brush with a medium bristle brush and a granular cleaner.

I have an electric washer (lower pressure than gas) have not had any issues, but I do notget too close to them.

I use my 4 gpm 4000 psi gas unit to wash the sides, with a 40 degree nozzel and I keep the head 18 to 24" from surface. I use the 40 degree head to go over it once, then I switch to a rotating brush that connects to the end and is powered by the water pressure to actually wash the unit. I then rinse back off with the 40 degree head.

Always use a stiff bristle brush on the roof. But I am going to have to try that Solvit cleaner, Lloyd's roof does look great!!!!
