Are you sure it's the Kindle that's stupid??? Just saying...

Gotta love it.

I think it's where they practice racing the mars rovers.

I do have one of those planned for this year too. Already bought the tickets and have the campsite reserved. It's the October race at Talladega. It will be my first time at a restrictor race. Even though their website says tickets aren't available until July 7, they will sell them to you over the phone. I got great seats too, on the aisle 4 rows from the top in the Talladega Tower for the cup race and top row on the aisle for the truck race.

Like I said, I hope things have improved, but be prepared for an interesting weekend.
I lock my generator to the camper and don't leave things out for "idle" hands. I have not lost anything - first time at the Glen was 1988.

The folks in the boot area seem to be the "party" campers. There is much more security at the track these days. They hire local law enforcement to help with security.

Looking forward to the new series racing at The Glen.

That's on our bucket list of tracks to hit, including Darlington, Bristol, and Dover.

Since we're out west, we been to Calif Autoclub Speedway since it's opening, Phoenix, and Las Vegas. We've also went through Daytona USA but haven't seen a race there.

We used to go to Riverside Raceway in the "olden" days too. Not sure we'll ever hit Sonoma.

Enjoy.

I went to Darlington in 2011. I went to the Bristol night race in 2011 and 2012. I've never been to Dover, but would like to go there someday. Living in Richmond, I've been to RIR many times. I've also gone to Charlotte and Martinsville. But, Talladega will be my first NASCAR camping experience though.

I bet Richmond would also be a great race. Racers seem to always praise that track, knowing it's the final race before the Chase.

I'm very jealous! Have a great time.

We went to Dover back somewhere around 2003. We stayed with friends in their 5er in one of the fields nearby. Wow, what a party scene. Back then we were into the party scene so it didn't bother us a bit but there were drunken brawls and all kinds of crazy (non family appropriate) frat type stuff going on.

We had a great time at The Glen and met another fellow CrossRoads RV owner. Great family.
